The Line Cook will work in a team-oriented environment, handling equipment such as fryers and flat top grills, managing ingredient prep, and restocking supplies efficiently. Steady hands and good manual dexterity for chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients are necessary skills, alongside the physical stamina to stand for long hours and work shifts in a high-heat environment. Additionally, this role requires interaction with customers in a positive manner, contributing to an excellent guest experience. Candidates should be able to pass a background check for airport badge clearance and have reliable transportation. Job Qualifications
- Accountability for the quality of dishes prepared meeting management and customer expectations
- Ability to follow direct orders, recipes and correctly prepare dishes to restaurant standards
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for knife techniques including chopping, slicing, cutting and dicing
- Ability to stand for hours at a time and work in high heat
- Good organizational and comprehension skills
Job Duties
- Provide quality food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards
- Know and follow safety procedures including safe temperatures to avoid foodborne illness
- Work as part of a kitchen team efficiently
- Prepare short order meals
- Operate fryer and flat top grill safely and effectively
- Maintain clean and organized kitchen workspace
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
- Prep ingredients to be used in cooking
- Restock and replenish product and inventory supplies
