Currently, Terreno is seeking to hire Line Cooks to become a vital part of its dynamic hospitality team. This position offers full-time employment with a competitive pay range of $18 to $22 per hour, commensurate with experience. The role reports directly to the Executive Chef and involves preparing food according to the directives issued by the Chef or General Manager of the club. Line Cooks at Terreno are entrusted with the responsibility of cooking meals to order in a timely manner, ensuring consistency in portioning, preparation, and garnishing based on established recipe cards. The emphasis is on maintaining high standards of food quality while also controlling costs effectively.

The Line Cook role is primarily an indoor position with some exposure to fast-moving kitchen equipment and potentially hazardous tools. Individuals in this role must be physically capable of performing moderate to strenuous physical activities such as lifting up to 40 pounds and standing for extended periods. The role demands strong organizational and communication skills to handle a fast-paced kitchen efficiently and to comply with sanitation and safety guidelines rigorously. Line Cooks must be adept at managing inventory, checking deliveries for quality and freshness, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness and hygiene according to the standards set by management.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as cook
- Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Very good communication skills
- Excellent physical condition and stamina
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as cook
- Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bake ware
- Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)
- Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Very good communication skills
- Excellent physical condition and stamina
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage
Job Duties
- Comply with written standardized food recipes and beverages to ensure the production of consistent quality and portion control
- Receives and checks food and supplies into the kitchen and storerooms including inspect condition of contents, checks against invoices and orders, and freshness of product
- Stores new and reuse products in proper temperatures and proper wrappings
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all kitchen areas as instructed by the Chef or General Manager
- Complete opening and closing checklists as outlined by the Chef or General Manager
- Protect the assets of the Club
- Operate within the guidelines, policies, standards, and constraints as established by Hampton Golf
- Maintain Food Handlers or Managers Certificate
- Assist with other duties as needed
