Job Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation required
- Experience in the restaurant industry is a plus
- Bilingual preferred
- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be 18 years of age

- Ability to follow standardized recipes and guidelines
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with kitchen team
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen

Job Duties
- Prepare or direct preparations of all recipes in compliance with portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies and procedures
- Prepare an extensive variety of cold and hot food items utilizing standardized recipes
- Prepare specially requested items
- Plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hours to preserve excellence, quality, temperature, and appearance of food
- Select and utilize knives, hand tools, utensils and equipment to portion, cut, slice, broil, roast, carve, skewer, garnish, and grill food on the kitchen line
- Comply with established sanitation standards, personal hygiene, and health standards
- Keep Head Kitchen Chef informed of inventories and report equipment repair and maintenance needs
- Communicate with Lead Line Cook to facilitate customer orders efficiently within required ticket times
- Maintain a neat, organized, and clean work area and equipment used in food preparation
- Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor
