Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs following appropriate safety procedures
  • ability to work in various positions including stooping, standing, bending, sitting, kneeling, squatting for extended durations
  • ability to climb stairs and navigate the property quickly and easily as required
  • ability to work extended and flexible hours including weekends
  • ability to repeat motions with wrists, hands, and fingers

Job Duties

  • Work with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to deliver vibrant menus
  • ensure all safety procedures are followed and kitchen meets health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • utilize basic cooking techniques including braising, sautéing, roasting, grilling, recipes, ratio, and portion controls
  • demonstrate basic knife handling skills and knowledge of correct use for each knife
  • participate in catering functions for food and beverage
  • actively participate in prep and daily kitchen setup
  • maintain a high level of energy and passion during service hours
  • manage inventory and production efficiently
  • understand inventory and product controls within culinary guidelines
  • work in all service types including a la carte and buffet
  • maintain a spotless kitchen and uphold proper hygiene including clean uniforms, personal grooming, and food handling
