Job Requirements

  • High school or equivalent (preferred)
  • 1 year cooking experience required
  • 1 year restaurant experience required
  • availability for day shifts
  • availability for weekend shifts
  • ability to work Monday through Sunday as scheduled
  • capable of standing for long periods
  • able to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service or other related fields
  • knowledge of common food safety practices
  • strong will to be devoted and do more for the kitchen

Job Duties

  • Practice safe and sanitary food-handling
  • experienced in fast paced environment
  • respect hierarchy in the kitchen
  • open to cross training, to substitute or assist other cooks during rush periods
  • help with prep on downtime
  • keep immediate area and kitchen clean
  • basic knowledge of prep
  • must be willing to deep clean
  • prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
  • follow recipes and presentation specifications
  • operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
  • assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
  • restock items as needed throughout the shift
  • adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
