Job Requirements
- must be 17 or older
- ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends and holidays
- physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
- willingness to follow safety guidelines and procedures
- ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment
- basic math and reading skills
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous kitchen or food preparation experience is an asset
- knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices
- ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- strong attention to detail and time management skills
- good communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- prepare food using methods such as cutting, sauteing, broiling, frying, and cooking various meals including meats, fish, poultry, vegetables, soups, salads and other ingredients
- adhere to safe food handling and cleanliness rules
- maintain a clean and organized work area
- ensure timely preparation of dishes to meet guest demands
- collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure meal quality and consistency
- manage inventory of ingredients to avoid shortages
- assist in receiving and storing deliveries
