- Minimum 2 years restaurant experience or equivalent
- knowledge and experience in food preparation
- punctuality to meet personal schedule
- friendly, courteous, and pleasant attitude
- clean, well-manicured appearance
- ability to safely transport containers up to 30 pounds
- ability to stand or walk for entire shift
- ability to safely navigate slick, uneven surfaces and stairs
- ability to retrieve and stock shelves and coolers
- ability to safely move in all restaurant areas
- accept constructive criticism
- work variable and flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to perform in limited physical space with variable ventilation, smoke, and extreme temperatures

Job Duties
- Prepare menu items according to prescribed recipes and special requests
- prepare ingredients needed for menu items
- master functions specific to menu item preparation requirements
- safely use kitchen equipment as necessary
- accurately read thermometers
- safely and efficiently use knives and utensils
- set up correct serving ware
- operate all functions of position independently
- maintain menu item counts and communicate shortages
- maintain a clean and orderly work area
- uphold food quality standards
- communicate effectively with co-workers
- perform calmly under pressure
- multitask and perform varied duties to ensure smooth kitchen operations
