Job Requirements

  • Proven cooking experience including as a Line Cook or Prep Cook
  • knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
  • accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
  • ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Food Handler Certification or ability to obtain one
  • strong language skills
  • experience as a line cook in a similar environment preferred
  • high school diploma or GED

Job Duties

  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies and ingredients
  • prepare food for service including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, preparing sauces
  • cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
  • follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications
  • ensure food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion
  • maintain a clean and organized station throughout your shift
  • comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • assist with cleaning and closing duties at the end of service
  • communicate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house team
