Job Duties

  • Create and maintain a positive work environment fostering teamwork and professional growth
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations
  • Communicate effectively with team members during service
  • Assist team members as needed to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food
  • Keep managers informed of any issues or challenges encountered during daily operations and work together to find timely solutions
  • Maintain stock levels of product in workstations and storage areas including coolers and dry storage
  • Address issues related to food quality promptly and effectively
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the menu including ingredients, flavor profiles, and preparation techniques
  • Prepare food according to standard recipes
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all kitchen areas
  • Prepare food items for customers using a quality predetermined method in a timely and consistent manner
  • Set up station with predetermined required items to service the restaurant
  • Familiarize yourself with menu items, daily specials, and promotions for effective operations
  • Perform set up duties including side stations, storage areas and food handling areas
  • Prepare and assemble menu items according to recipes and customer specifications ensuring plating and presentation match quality standards
  • Perform general cleaning tasks adhering to health and safety standards
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as internal policies and procedures
  • Oversee food safety practices including proper storage, handling, and preparation of food items
