Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand or walk for 100 percent of the time
  • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours
  • Able to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously
  • Able to lift up to 15 lbs regularly and occasionally lift up to 30 lbs
  • Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and visual acuity
  • Manual dexterity to operate all necessary kitchen equipment
  • Required to work nights, holidays and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role
  • Strong knife skills and knowledge of cooking techniques
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Passion for learning and culinary innovation
  • Good team player with positive attitude
  • Basic understanding of food safety standards
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Leverage knife skills, experience and technique to confidently prep and run a station during busy service
  • Seamlessly work with an energetic and positive kitchen team to prepare and reproduce menu items which will exceed guest expectations
  • Embrace continuous learning by actively expanding knowledge of food and beverage
  • Understand all ingredients as they pertain to each recipe and preparation of authentic menu items
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and kitchen cleanliness
  • Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service
