Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1-3 years professional cooking experience in restaurant or establishment of similar caliber
  • High School Diploma or equivalent level of education
  • Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read, speak and interpret documents in clear English
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be organized, motivating, and personable
  • Working knowledge of reservation management systems is highly preferred

Job Duties

  • Oversees assigned areas of culinary production and works service
  • Execute recipes accurately and maintain kitchen equipment
  • Use working knowledge of basic cooking techniques such as measuring, knife skills, sautéing, grilling, roasting, and poaching
  • Ensure consistent preparation and serving of all food products according to recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards
  • Maintain punctuality and adhere to scheduled shifts
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management
  • Assist in maintaining kitchen cleanliness and organization
