Job Requirements
- Ability to stand or walk for up to 8 hours continuously
- Must be able to exert well-paced mobility and maneuver between simultaneous functions
- Capable of lifting up to 15 lbs regularly and occasionally lifting trays weighing up to 30 lbs
- Required manual dexterity to operate kitchen equipment
- Availability to work nights, holidays and weekends
- Good listening, visual, and physical ability to perform job duties
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen environment
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a line cook or similar role in a fast-paced kitchen
- Strong knife skills and culinary technique
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Passion for continuous learning and culinary creativity
- Good physical stamina and stamina to stand for prolonged periods
- Basic understanding of kitchen equipment and tools
Job Duties
- Leverage knife skills, experience and technique to confidently prep and run a station during busy service
- Seamlessly work with an energetic and positive kitchen team to prepare and reproduce menu items which will exceed guest expectations
- Demonstrate a passion for continuous learning and discovery by embracing an active and innovative approach to expanding knowledge of food and beverage
- Understand all ingredients as they pertain to each recipe and preparation of each authentic menu item
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation and kitchen
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines rigorously
- Assist in receiving and storing kitchen inventory
