Job Requirements
- Hold a current Food Handler Card
- have a minimum of two years cooking experience preferred
- possess knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service standards
- have a good understanding of broiler and sauté cooking techniques
- understand and adhere to sanitation standards
- ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
- possess basic math skills for measurements and portion control
- capability to comprehend basic English instructions
- physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs and perform manual dexterity tasks
- willingness to work varied shifts in a 24/7 environment
Job Qualifications
- Current Food Handler Card
- minimum two years of cooking experience preferred, especially broiler cooking
- knowledge of food and beverage preparation and guest service standards
- working knowledge of broiler and sauté cooking fundamentals
- understanding of sanitation standards
- ability to operate kitchen equipment including stoves, ovens, broilers, slicers, steamers, and kettles
- basic math skills for recipe comprehension and portion control
- basic English proficiency to follow instructions and communicate effectively
- ability to apply written product labeling for safe food handling
- proficiency in operating beverage equipment such as coffee makers
Job Duties
- Prepares daily preparation lists for production
- reads and employs math skills to follow recipes
- prepares all broiled and sautéed food items according to standard recipes and guest specifications
- visually inspects, selects, and uses only high-quality food items
- checks and controls proper storage and portion control for quality maintenance
- keeps refrigeration, equipment, and work areas clean and compliant with health regulations
- maintains logs for cooling, heating, and temperature
- adheres to company policies and safety procedures
- utilizes protective equipment and reports unsafe conditions
- follows emergency and fire prevention procedures
- maintains neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
- assists other kitchen personnel as needed
- performs additional duties as assigned by management
