At least 1 year experience as line cook in restaurant or café
high school diploma or equivalent
knowledge of various cooking procedures including grilling, baking, and boiling
excellent communication skills
knowledge of ServSafe and food handling procedures

Job Duties

Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
prepare ingredients such as chopping, peeling, and cutting vegetables and meats
cook food using various tools and equipment
ensure great presentation of dishes
maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized environment in the kitchen
ensure food and items are stored safely and properly according to food handling and safety laws
monitor stock and inventory
