Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • three or more years of culinary experience
  • ability to follow recipe compliance and portioning guidelines
  • willingness to obtain ServSafe and Allergen certifications if not currently held
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work flexible schedules
  • capacity to manage kitchen operational duties
  • passion for food and culinary excellence

Job Qualifications

  • Associates degree in culinary or hospitality
  • equivalent work experience in the industry acceptable
  • three or more years culinary experience
  • experience in large kitchen strongly preferred
  • ServSafe Manager certification preferred
  • Allergen certification preferred
  • proficiency with electronic communication and Microsoft Office Suite

Job Duties

  • Facilitate and manage daily prep in the kitchen
  • ensure food is properly prepared, packaged and shipped according to recipe standards
  • ensure the kitchen is closed properly daily
  • execute service and special events
  • maintain quality and completeness of food production
  • manage daily upkeep and organization of kitchen prep areas, cooler and freezers
  • assist with inventory and ordering
