Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • comfortable working in a hot and sometimes crowded kitchen environment
  • ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity, such as chopping, slicing, and frying

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • culinary degree or certification preferred
  • minimum of 3 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen or restaurant setting
  • strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and food safety practices
  • ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • excellent time management skills and attention to detail
  • team-oriented with the ability to communicate effectively with others

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
  • ensure all food is prepared and presented in a timely manner, meeting quality standards of flavor and aesthetics
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas, adhering to food safety and sanitation regulations
