The Line Cook role at Atlas Restaurant Group involves working as an experienced cook responsible for performing the full cooking process by adhering to the location's assigned recipes. This position requires proficiency in preparing and measuring ingredients, as well as expertise in various cooking techniques including grilling, frying, broiling, baking, and sautéing. The Line Cook ensures food items are accurately cooked with proper doneness and taste while adjusting seasoning and temperature to achieve the best possible results. Additionally, the role involves setting plate presentations to meet company standards. The position demands full responsibility for the cooking station, maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and proper product rotation, ensuring all food safety guidelines are strictly followed. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen
  • valid form of identification
  • ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
  • capability to calculate discounts and tips
  • ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions
  • ability to use common sense to follow instructions
  • demonstrated problem-solving skills in fast-paced environment
