You will be expected to cook a range of dishes, including meat, seafood, poultry, and vegetables, while maintaining the correct temperatures and ensuring that each plate delivered meets the Chef’s exacting standards. The Line Cook will also play an important role in inventory management by inspecting deliveries, notifying the Chef of any shortages, and ensuring all kitchen tools and equipment are used and maintained according to manufacturers’ guidelines. Cleanliness and hygiene are paramount, with duties including cleaning food preparation areas, following kitchen closing procedures, and continually adhering to safe food-handling practices. The position also requires effective communication and cooperation with staff, guests, and management to sustain an outstanding working environment. This role suits individuals who are energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about food quality and service excellence. Prior experience in a professional kitchen and proper food safety certification are required to ensure a smooth and safe operation. As a Line Cook at Hotel Nell, you will have the opportunity to develop your culinary skills, work alongside experienced professionals, and play a key role in enhancing the guest dining experience in a prestigious boutique hotel setting.
