We are currently seeking a passionate, dedicated, and skilled Line Cook to become an integral part of our food and beverage team. As a Food and Beverage Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes according to Hotel Nell's recipes and culinary standards. Your primary duties will include setting up and stocking your station with all necessary ingredients before service, weighing and measuring portions accurately, and cooking a variety of foods such as meat, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and cold items to perfection. You will ensure that dishes are consistently prepared to surpass guest expectations in both taste and presentation while maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment. This position demands a strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic kitchen environment to help maintain the flow of service. As part of the kitchen team, you will also assist in inventory management by inspecting and receiving deliveries, reporting shortages, and properly storing food items following safe food-handling procedures. Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent vocational training
  • at least 1 year of related experience required
  • proper food safety training and certification as described by law or the ability to obtain
  • excellent knowledge of food safety, sanitation and handling practices
