Job Description

A Line Cook at Vandelay Hospitality Group is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality and menu recipe execution for immediate service to restaurant guests. The Line Cook ensures the correct preparation of all dishes in accordance with guest requests, portion control, and company standards.

Job Requirements

  • 1+ years of cooking experience in an upscale or fine-dining high volume establishment
  • positive attitude, sense of responsibility, and ownership
  • detail-oriented with strong communication skills
  • team-oriented with punctuality and reliability
  • basic understanding of recipe preparation and cooking
  • knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • certified for food service as required by State and Local Agencies
