We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Cook to join our vibrant kitchen team. This role is essential in ensuring that menu items are prepared following precise recipes, presented beautifully, and meet strict quality standards. The ideal candidate will bring at least two years of prior culinary experience, preferably in from-scratch cuisine, and demonstrate a passion for organic ingredients and creative food preparation. As a Cook, you will be responsible for managing your workstation by completing all prep work, maintaining cleanliness, and preparing your station for the next shift. You will work closely with your team, participate in daily meetings, and uphold safety and sanitation guidelines rigorously. This position requires physical mobility throughout the shift, use of various kitchen tools and equipment, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks. Evening and weekend availability is also essential, specifically shifts on Saturdays. Job Requirements

  • Minimum two years prior experience, preferably with from-scratch cuisine
  • A passion for organics and creative cuisine
  • Ability to work evenings and Saturdays on a regular basis
  • Ability to function in team environment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast paced environment
  • Must have good interpersonal and communication skills and be able to take direction from supervisor
  • Capable of using knives, slicing equipment and other food preparation equipment
  • Mobility required during entire shift, including climbing stairs
  • Willingness to work flexible and extended hours, as needed

Job Duties

  • Prepare menu items according to recipes, plate presentations and specifications in a timely fashion
  • Maintain product presentations, product quality and cook time standards
  • Complete all assigned prep work
  • Set up work station according to station diagram
  • Practice sanitary and safe food handling at all times
  • Clean and sanitize the work area before, during and after shift
  • Complete assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects
