Job Requirements
- Must possess current food-handler's permit
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Must be available to work weekends and some holidays as requested
- Culinary experience with increasing responsibility
- Verifiable culinary references
Job Qualifications
- Three years of culinary experience preferably in a high-volume operation
- Experience preparing menus adhering to nutritional guidelines
- Experience working on a food truck
- Ability to work independently and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prepare food according to standardized recipes
- Ability to prepare foods for special diets
- Ability to keep records of food prepared, served, and left over
Job Duties
- Coordinate, cook, and produce breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner entrees
- Maintain adequate products and supplies for daily menu preparation
- Request cooking products or supplies to be ordered according to menu needs
- Check supplies or food products delivered to ensure they meet type, quantity, and quality standards
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
