The company has established itself as a leader in packaging innovation by continuously adapting to the needs of its clients and advancing sustainable practices in its operations.
Novolex's commitment to sustainability is central to its business strategy. It focuses on three core pillars: its products, operations, and people. This holistic sustainability approach supports long-term growth and reaffirms Novolex's leadership in sustainable packaging.
Novolex is currently seeking to hire a Lift Truck Operator for its Santa Fe Springs, California facility. This is an immediate hire position offering competitive hourly pay rates ranging from $20.46 to $27.84, with weekly pay schedules. Employees may also earn a monthly bonus linked to plant productivity and have the opportunity to increase their earnings by referring friends and family. Shift options include first shift (6:00 am - 2:30 pm), second shift (2:00 pm - 10:30 pm), and rotating schedules with variable days off.
The Lift Truck Operator is a critical role within the production team, tasked with ensuring efficient material flow to sustain continuous production. The role involves operating various warehouse equipment such as forklifts and clamp trucks to transfer finished goods and materials to their appropriate destinations. The Lift Truck Operator collaborates closely with team members to maintain workflow and operational effectiveness.
This position requires the operator to efficiently load and unload trucks while adhering to department standards, safely stock goods, maintain clear communication during shift changes, and strictly follow safety protocols. Maintaining a clean, organized work environment and understanding safety tools such as emergency stops and fire extinguishers are also key responsibilities. The operator will be required to perform regular equipment checks, monitor product returns, verify product counts and paperwork, and safely fill forklift propane tanks. Knowledge of 6s, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and SAP software is advantageous.
Novolex offers a supportive work environment with comprehensive training and development opportunities, including company and industry training programs, Tuition Reimbursement for non-union employees, and a Learning Management System to enhance skill sets. The company emphasizes equal opportunity employment and is dedicated to providing accommodations for applicants with disabilities. Overall, this position offers an excellent career opportunity with a well-established industry leader committed to safety, sustainability, and employee growth.
