Job Description

Marriott International is a leading global hospitality company renowned for delivering exceptional service and memorable guest experiences across its diverse portfolio of hotels and resorts. Among its many brands, Renaissance Hotels stand out by embracing the spirit of local neighborhoods and encouraging guests to explore and discover the unique culture and stories each destination has to offer. With a firm commitment to inclusivity and diversity, Marriott International fosters a welcoming environment where all associates, regardless of background or status, can grow and thrive professionally. Renaissance Hotels focus on providing adventurous and culturally rich travel encounters, making them a preferred choice for explorers and business travelers alike who seek more than just a place to stay but a journey worth remembering.

Within this exciting hospitality environment, the role of a Mixologist at Renaissance Hotels transcends traditional bartending. This position is dedicated to crafting not only exquisite cocktails but creating a unique and personalized guest experience that resonates with the local vibe and the evolving tastes of travelers. Mixologists are envisioned as not just beverage enthusiasts but as key hosts and ambassadors of the hotel's culture and spirit. They have the responsibility to maintain the bar's flawless operation, blending artistry with efficiency and an in-depth understanding of micro-local offerings and the latest drink trends. Beyond mixing drinks, the role involves taking ownership of guest service throughout the hotel, ensuring that every visitor feels welcomed, understood, and catered to according to their preferences. This includes maintaining high service standards, managing cash and transaction accuracy, and providing knowledgeable answers about the origin, vintage, and style of wines offered.

Mixologists at Renaissance Hotels work closely with management to foster a collaborative and motivated team environment by assisting in the recruitment, training, and development of new ambassadors. Their daily duties require physical stamina, as they spend much of their time on their feet, moving, lifting moderate weights, and ensuring a clean and safe workspace. The position demands a high level of attention to detail, professionalism in personal appearance, and adherence to company policies to protect the organization's assets and promote a safe workplace. This comprehensive approach to the role aims to not only meet but exceed guest expectations, ensuring that every moment at the bar contributes to an unforgettable discovery experience. By joining Renaissance Hotels as a Mixologist, individuals become part of a global team that values cultural richness, creativity, and a passion for delivering exceptional service — a place where they can do their best work, begin their purpose, belong to a supportive community, and become the best version of themselves.
