Job Description

Lewis Group of Companies is one of the nation’s largest privately held real estate development firms with over 70 years of expertise in creating thriving residential communities. They are highly committed to honesty, long-term relationships, and maintaining high-quality standards that benefit their employees, residents, and the communities they serve. Lewis Apartment Communities, a division of the Lewis Group, manages a variety of apartment communities across the country and focuses on delivering excellent living experiences through outstanding property management and community engagement programs. Their mission is to build vibrant, supportive, and welcoming environments where residents feel proud to live and employees can grow and succeed.

The Lifestyle Director role at Homecoming at The Resort in Rancho Cucamonga, California, offers a unique opportunity to join a premier apartment community within the Lewis Apartment Communities portfolio. This position is ideal for an energetic, creative individual with excellent organizational skills and a passion for fostering community spirit and resident engagement. The Lifestyle Director acts as the community's ambassador, responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and implementing diverse and engaging lifestyle events that enrich residents’ lives and foster strong community bonds. This fast-paced role requires a dynamic professional who thrives in a hospitality-focused environment and who can balance multiple projects, coordinate with various internal and external partners, and continuously innovate to keep the community experience fresh and exciting.

Specific responsibilities include developing comprehensive event calendars—both seasonal and annual—that promote participation and community building at Homecoming and other managed apartment communities. The role also involves collaborating closely with Community Directors, General Managers, corporate teams, vendors, local organizations, and city programs to deliver exceptional and memorable resident experiences. In addition to event planning, the Lifestyle Director manages communication strategies through social media management, email campaigns, digital displays, and printed materials to ensure broad and consistent resident engagement.

Financial responsibilities include managing event budgets, purchasing, invoicing, and expense tracking while monitoring attendance and engagement metrics through detailed monthly reports. This helps inform strategic adjustments to future programming based on resident feedback, which the Lifestyle Director gathers through surveys and other communication channels.

Customer service excellence is paramount, involving direct interaction with residents and guests to build positive relationships and respond professionally to queries or concerns. Maintaining a safe environment by adhering to company safety policies and procedures is also a vital part of the role. The position offers an hourly pay range of $25-26 per hour depending on experience, a monthly cellphone allowance, comprehensive health benefits options, a 401k plan with company match, and paid days off (Sunday and Monday), with flexibility required to support community events outside of the regular schedule.

Joining Lewis means becoming part of more than a property management company; it means contributing to a community-focused, inclusive workplace that values employee development and celebrates diversity. The company fosters professional growth and encourages a positive work-life balance, offering a supportive environment for success. Lewis Management Corp. is an equal opportunity employer, dedicated to creating an inclusive culture that respects and values every employee’s contributions. This position promises a fulfilling career for candidates passionate about community engagement, event coordination, and resident satisfaction within a well-established and respected organization.
