Job Description

Our client is a prestigious luxury multifamily residential community known for providing an exceptional living experience that blends sophisticated design, resort-style amenities, and a welcoming atmosphere. This community stands out in the multifamily housing market by focusing on superior lifestyle programming that fosters connections among residents and delivers a vibrant, hospitality-driven environment for all who live or visit there. The community features extensive amenities including clubhouses, pools, recreational spaces, and event venues, making it a premier destination for luxury living with a strong emphasis on resident satisfaction and engagement.

The Director of Lifestyle role is an exciting leadership opportunity within this luxury multifamily community. This full-time position offers an annual salary range of $75,000 to $85,000 and is dedicated to creating, planning, and delivering a comprehensive lifestyle program that enhances the resident and guest experience. The Director acts as the community’s chief hospitality ambassador, ensuring that every interaction and event surpasses expectations and contributes to a warm, engaging, and inclusive atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, event management, and lifestyle programming, along with the ability to lead and inspire amenity staff to maintain the highest standards of service.

In this role, the Director of Lifestyle takes ownership of all amenity operations including supervising staff, maintaining operational standards, and partnering with maintenance and operations teams to guarantee facilities are always in pristine condition. Additionally, the position requires the development of year-round event calendars that include social programming, wellness initiatives, entertainment, and family-friendly activities designed to foster community spirit and encourage resident retention and positive word-of-mouth.

Beyond managing events and activities, this role requires a proactive approach to guest engagement, creating welcoming orientations for new residents and vacation rental guests, and coordinating activities that highlight community amenities and local attractions. Effective collaboration with property management, marketing, and other internal teams is essential to promoting lifestyle offerings through various communication channels such as social media, newsletters, and resident apps.

The Director of Lifestyle is also tasked with overseeing vendor relationships, including negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with company policies. This position demands excellent organizational skills for managing budgets, tracking participation metrics, preparing detailed reports, and ensuring all programming adheres to safety and policy requirements. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is necessary to support the dynamic and evolving needs of the community.

This role is ideal for a highly organized, energetic professional passionate about hospitality, community building, and delivering superior resident experiences within a luxury environment. The successful candidate will bring 3-5 years of relevant experience in multifamily lifestyle programming, hospitality, resort or vacation rental operations, with added value placed on luxury community experience, staff supervision, and certifications such as CPR and First Aid. Physical stamina and the ability to engage actively with residents and staff throughout the property are also important aspects of the job.

Joining this community as the Director of Lifestyle offers a unique chance to influence residents’ quality of life directly, create memorable experiences, and contribute to the reputation of a leading luxury multifamily community that prioritizes innovation, engagement, and excellence in hospitality.
