The Lifestyle Coordinator / Event Planner position within the 55+ active adult community located in Overland Park, KS, offers a unique opportunity to be at the heart of resident engagement and community life. This full-time role, compensated at $18 to $19 per hour plus commission, is ideal for a vibrant and organized professional who excels in hospitality, event coordination, customer service, senior living, or property management. Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in hospitality, event coordination, customer service, senior living, leasing or related fields
  • Professional demeanor and strong customer service skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize independently
  • Proficiency with social media and design tools like Canva
  • Dependability and proactive attitude with attention to detail
  • Availability for occasional evening and weekend work
  • Valid driver's license

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Plan and host resident events, social activities, wellness programs, clubs, workshops, and outings

  • Coordinate event logistics including scheduling, setup, vendor communication, and event execution
  • Bring fresh ideas and creative energy to resident programming and community experiences

  • Build strong relationships with residents by providing attentive and responsive customer service
  • Support clubhouse operations and help maintain clean, inviting common areas
  • Assist with resident requests, communication, and day-to-day community needs
  • Create social media content, newsletters, flyers, and event promotions using Canva or similar platforms
  • Capture photos/videos of community events and activities
  • Assist with phones, work orders, resident communication, and occasional community tours
  • Collaborate with onsite leadership to support resident satisfaction and overall community operations
