Job Description

W Dallas, located at 2440 Victory Park Lane in Dallas, Texas, is a vibrant and sophisticated luxury hotel that is part of the prestigious W Hotels brand under Marriott International. Known for its distinctive design, energetic atmosphere, and exceptional service, W Dallas offers guests a unique hospitality experience that blends modern style with a touch of urban flair. As a full-service hotel, W Dallas caters to business travelers, tourists, and locals alike with high-end accommodations, stunning rooftop lounges, trendy dining options, and event spaces that make it an ideal destination for relaxation and entertainment. The hotel is committed to fostering an inclusive and dynamic environment where every team member plays a key role in delivering world-class experiences to guests.

The Bartender role at W Dallas goes far beyond the traditional expectations of mixing drinks. It is centered around creating memorable and unique experiences for every guest through exceptional service, attention to detail, and proactive engagement. Bartenders at W Dallas are not simply beverage enthusiasts; they act as the hosts of the space, owning guest service in a comprehensive manner that transcends the bar area. This position is full-time and classified as non-management, focusing on hands-on, guest-facing responsibilities that include crafting innovative beverages, keeping the bar immaculate and fully stocked, and anticipating guest needs through strong relationship building both within the hotel community and among guests.

Candidates for this position are expected to be knowledgeable about current trends, local offerings, and evolving guest preferences. The role demands a balance of technical expertise in beverage preparation and a passion for hospitality that ensures every aspect of the guest’s experience is flawless. Bartenders will handle cash and payment transactions accurately, maintain confidentiality, follow company policies strictly, and project a professional appearance. Physically, the job requires standing, sitting, and moving around for extended periods, and the ability to lift and maneuver items weighing up to 25 pounds.

W Dallas values the safety and well-being of its employees, emphasizing a secure workplace and adherence to company procedures. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals with at least one year of related work experience looking to grow their hospitality career in a luxury hotel setting. The company offers a welcoming and inclusive work environment where diversity and individuality are celebrated, aligned with Marriott International’s commitment to equal opportunity employment. Joining W Hotels means becoming part of a global portfolio renowned for its innovative approach to luxury hospitality, where you can do your best work, begin your purpose, belong to an amazing team, and become the best version of yourself.
