Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- demonstrated knowledge and experience with residents having dementia
- ability to read, write, and speak English in an understandable manner
- capacity to walk, stand, talk, hear, and move freely throughout the facility
- completion of Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
- sensitivity and professionalism in resident interactions
- adherence to Arden Courts employment policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- demonstrated knowledge and experience with residents having dementia
- experience with therapeutic and behavioral interventions preferred
- ability to read, write, and speak English in an understandable manner
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work sensitively and professionally with elderly residents
Job Duties
- Provide daily activity programs for residents
- assist the Director in delivering a full range of program services
- implement therapeutic and behavioral interventions for residents with dementia
- ensure high standards of resident programming service delivery
- engage with residents through compassionate and professional interactions
- maintain clear and effective communication with residents and team members
- comply with care provider background screening requirements
