Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with residents having dementia preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English in an understandable manner
  • Physical ability to walk, stand, talk, hear, and move freely throughout the facility
  • Tact, sensitivity, and professionalism
  • Compliance with equal employment opportunity laws and ADAAA accommodations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience working with residents having dementia preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of therapeutic and behavioral interventions
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team

Job Duties

  • Provide daily activity programs for residents
  • Assist Director in delivering a full range of program services
  • Use tact and sensitivity when interacting with residents
  • Ensure the delivery of industry-leading resident programming services
  • Support residents with dementia through appropriate therapeutic and behavioral interventions
  • Maintain clear communication in English
  • Promote a positive and supportive community environment
