As a Lifestyle Assistant at Arden Courts, you will play a vital role in improving the daily lives of residents by coordinating and facilitating meaningful daily activity programs. This position involves working closely with the Director to offer a full spectrum of programming services that cater to the unique preferences and needs of each resident. The role demands tact, sensitivity, and strong communication skills to successfully engage residents, many of whom may be coping with dementia. Your responsibilities will include implementing therapeutic and behavioral interventions, designed specifically for memory care populations, helping to create a stimulating environment that encourages social interaction and cognitive engagement. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Demonstrated experience working with residents with dementia
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Physical ability to walk, stand, talk, and hear
Mobility to move freely throughout the facility
Willingness to comply with Equal Opportunity Employer policies and drug-free workplace standards
Ability to work under tactful and sensitive circumstances

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with residents having dementia
Experience in therapeutic and behavioral interventions preferred
Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
Commitment to professionalism and sensitivity in resident care

Job Duties

Provide daily activity programs for residents
Assist the Director in delivering full range of program services
Implement therapeutic and behavioral interventions appropriate for residents with dementia
Engage with residents to promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation
Maintain professionalism, tact, and sensitivity in all interactions
Support a safe and welcoming environment for all residents
Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent program delivery
