The Lifestyle Assistant position at Arden Courts is a vital role that involves providing daily activity programs to residents and supporting the Director in delivering a comprehensive range of program services. This role requires not only the ability to organize and implement engaging activities but also a high degree of sensitivity, professionalism, and tact to ensure that residents receive industry-leading programming services. The Lifestyle Assistant must be comfortable working with residents with varying levels of dementia and be skilled in therapeutic and behavioral interventions to promote well-being and engagement. Exceptional communication skills in English are essential to effectively interact with residents, families, and staff. The role also demands physical mobility including walking, standing, talking, and hearing within the facility to ensure direct involvement in all programming activities.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with residents with dementia preferred
- Ability to read, write, and speak English in an understandable manner
- Ability to walk, stand, talk, and hear
- Ability to move freely throughout the facility
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with dementia and therapeutic interventions preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly in spoken and written English
- Proven ability to work sensitively and professionally with elderly residents
- Experience or training in activity planning or similar roles
- Physical ability to walk, stand, talk, and hear within the facility
- Understanding of behavioral strategies and resident engagement techniques
Job Duties
- Provide daily activity programs for residents
- Assist the Director in delivering full range of program services
- Implement therapeutic and behavioral interventions for residents with dementia
- Communicate effectively in English with residents and staff
- Ensure mobility to support active engagement throughout the facility
- Maintain professionalism, tact, and sensitivity in all interactions
- Support a compassionate resident programming experience
