As a Lifestyle Assistant at Arden Courts, you will play a vital role in enriching the lives of residents by providing engaging daily activity programs that promote mental and physical well-being. Working closely with the Director, you will assist in delivering a full range of program services designed to improve residents’ quality of life through personalized and therapeutic interventions. This position requires a high level of tact, sensitivity, and professionalism to effectively meet the diverse needs of residents. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with dementia residents preferred
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Physical capability to walk, stand, talk, and hear
- Ability to move freely throughout the facility
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with residents having dementia and appropriate therapeutic/behavioral interventions preferred
- Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
Job Duties
- Provide daily activity programs for residents
- Assist the Director in delivering a full range of program services
- Ensure industry-leading resident programming service delivery
- Adapt therapeutic and behavioral interventions for residents with dementia
- Maintain sensitivity and professionalism in all resident interactions
- Promote resident engagement through recreational and social activities
- Support team collaboration within the care facility
