As a Lifestyle Assistant at Arden Courts, you will play a vital role in enriching the lives of residents by providing engaging daily activity programs that promote mental and physical well-being. Working closely with the Director, you will assist in delivering a full range of program services designed to improve residents’ quality of life through personalized and therapeutic interventions. This position requires a high level of tact, sensitivity, and professionalism to effectively meet the diverse needs of residents. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with dementia residents preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Physical capability to walk, stand, talk, and hear
  • Ability to move freely throughout the facility

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with residents having dementia and appropriate therapeutic/behavioral interventions preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities

Job Duties

  • Provide daily activity programs for residents
  • Assist the Director in delivering a full range of program services
  • Ensure industry-leading resident programming service delivery
  • Adapt therapeutic and behavioral interventions for residents with dementia
  • Maintain sensitivity and professionalism in all resident interactions
  • Promote resident engagement through recreational and social activities
  • Support team collaboration within the care facility
