The Lifestyle Assistant position at Auberge is a vital role dedicated to enriching the daily lives of residents through thoughtfully crafted activity programs. This role supports the Director by providing a full spectrum of program services aimed at improving resident engagement and satisfaction. A Lifestyle Assistant plays an important part in creating a vibrant community where residents can thrive socially, emotionally, and physically. This position requires a high level of tact, sensitivity, and professionalism, especially when interacting with residents who may have unique needs such as dementia or other behavioral challenges. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly
Physical ability to walk, stand, talk, and hear
Ability to move freely throughout the facility
Sensitivity and professionalism in resident care
Compliance with equal opportunity employment standards

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with residents having dementia
Familiarity with therapeutic and behavioral interventions preferred
Strong communication skills in English
Ability to engage empathetically with senior residents
Experience in activity programming or related roles is advantageous

Job Duties

Provide daily activity programs for residents
Assist the Director in delivering a full range of program services
Use tact, sensitivity, and professionalism in resident interactions
Implement appropriate therapeutic and behavioral interventions for residents with dementia
Communicate clearly in English with residents and team members
Maintain active presence by walking, standing, and moving throughout the facility
Participate in employee appreciation events and promote a positive community environment
