Job Description

Pechanga Resort and Casino is a renowned entertainment and hospitality establishment located in Temecula, California. It offers a wide range of amenities, including luxury accommodations, diverse dining options, gaming, and recreational facilities. The resort is committed to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards to ensure an outstanding guest experience. As a Four Diamond Service establishment, Pechanga Resort and Casino emphasizes quality, safety, and professionalism in all aspects of its operation, upholding stringent core values and service guarantees. The resort features pool areas that provide guests with a comfortable and enjoyable environment for relaxation and recreation, supported by a dedicated team acting as goodwill ambassadors to ensure a safe and pleasant atmosphere.

The Lifeguard role at Pechanga Resort and Casino is fundamental to maintaining the safety and well-being of all guests visiting the pool areas. This position demands vigilant and proactive monitoring of patrons to prevent accidents and respond promptly and effectively to emergencies. Lifeguards are responsible not only for supervising the pool but also for enforcing the facility's policies, rules, and regulations to uphold order and safety standards. The role includes various administrative duties and facility maintenance activities, ensuring that the pool environment remains clean, safe, and welcoming at all times. In addition to these responsibilities, Lifeguards at Pechanga Resort and Casino are expected to embody the Four Diamond Service Agreement by consistently displaying exceptional customer service and positive communication skills. They greet guests courteously, educate swimmers regarding safe practices, maintain necessary health and sanitation standards, and keep supervisors informed of any unusual incidents. Lifeguards operate in a dynamic environment, often exposed to challenging weather and noise conditions, and must be adept at quick decision-making and logical reasoning under pressure. The position does not involve supervisory duties but requires a collaborative attitude and the ability to foster harmonious working relationships within the team. Lifeguards must hold or be able to obtain valid certifications in CPR/AED, First Aid, and lifeguard training, accompanied by a strong background in pool safety and rescue techniques. Their role is integral to making Pechanga Resort and Casino pool areas safe, enjoyable, and exemplary models of hospitality safety and service excellence.
