LifeCafe employees play a crucial role in maintaining the cafe’s reputation for excellence by adhering to recipe standards, speed of service goals, and delivering outstanding customer experiences. The position available is for LifeCafe Staff, responsible for preparing and executing food orders, shakes, and beverages efficiently while maintaining a clean and sanitized work environment. Team members must be responsive to customer inquiries, provide helpful suggestions, and contribute to an overall enjoyable dining atmosphere.

This role demands a combination of culinary skill, customer service expertise, and physical stamina, including the ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift items weighing more than 20 pounds. New hires are required to obtain CPR/AED certification within the first 30 days of employment, emphasizing Life Time’s commitment to safety and wellbeing for both employees and members.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the cafe for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs
  • CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire

Job Qualifications

  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Food preparation experience an asset
  • Ability to follow recipes and portion guidelines
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must be able to work effectively in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Executes food, shakes and beverage orders in a fast and efficient manner
  • Responds to members questions and makes suggestions regarding food and service
  • Ensures cleanliness in a fast paced customer focused environment
  • Executes espresso drink orders in a fast and efficient manner
