Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in activity coordination or related field preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with residents families volunteers and staff
- Reliable and organized with attention to detail
- Ability to adapt activities to accommodate various physical and cognitive abilities
Job Qualifications
- Activity Director preferred
- Experience in senior living recreation or event planning preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to engage residents of all cognitive and physical abilities
- Compassionate energetic and creative leader
Job Duties
- Develop a diverse calendar of events activities and outings tailored to residents' interests and abilities
- Encourage participation and foster meaningful connections among residents
- Partner with community organizations volunteers and families to enhance programming
- Lead group activities such as arts and crafts music fitness games and educational sessions
- Ensure all programs align with residents’ preferences and needs while maintaining a fun and inclusive atmosphere
