We are currently seeking a passionate and creative Activity Director to join our dedicated team. In this role, the Activity Director will be instrumental in crafting a diverse and dynamic calendar of events, activities, and outings that cater to the unique interests and abilities of our residents. The successful candidate will be responsible for encouraging resident participation and fostering meaningful social interactions that enhance quality of life. They will collaborate closely with community organizations, volunteers, and families to enrich the programming and ensure activities are inclusive, engaging, and aligned with the preferences of our residents.

Leadership in facilitating group activities such as arts and crafts, music, fitness, games, and educational sessions is key to this role. The Activity Director will create a welcoming and fun atmosphere where residents of various cognitive and physical abilities feel valued and included. This position demands a compassionate, energetic, and creative leader with strong organizational and communication skills. Experience in senior living, recreation, or event planning is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in activity coordination or related field preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with residents families volunteers and staff
  • Reliable and organized with attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt activities to accommodate various physical and cognitive abilities
