Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in senior living or related activities preferred
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to plan and organize events effectively
- capable of working collaboratively with a team and community partners
Job Qualifications
- Activity Director preferred
- experience in senior living, recreation, or event planning (preferred)
- strong communication and organizational skills
- ability to engage residents of all cognitive and physical abilities
- compassionate, energetic, and creative leader
Job Duties
- Develop a diverse calendar of events, activities, and outings tailored to residents' interests and abilities
- encourage participation and foster meaningful connections among residents
- partner with community organizations, volunteers, and families to enhance programming
- lead group activities such as arts and crafts, music, fitness, games, and educational sessions
- ensure all programs align with residents’ preferences and needs while maintaining a fun and inclusive atmosphere
