The Life Enrichment Director role at Ebenezer, the parent organization overseeing Jones-Harrison and similar senior living communities, centers on designing, implementing, and evaluating innovative and engaging programs that enhance the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional well-being of senior residents. This leadership position holds the responsibility of aligning activities and programs with each resident's care plan while complying with state and federal regulations as well as internal policies. The director is tasked with overseeing community outings, managing culturally inclusive activities, and placing a strong emphasis on safety and personalized engagement to enrich the daily lives of senior residents.

This full-time role involves working 80 hours every two weeks with a rotating schedule that includes weekends and holidays as needed. The role includes managing a team comprised of life enrichment assistants and collaborating with other departments to ensure coordinated delivery of programming and activities. As the Activities Department leader, the Life Enrichment Director fosters a vibrant and empowering environment by encouraging resident participation, promoting independence, and utilizing community volunteers effectively to broaden resident engagement. The role also demands excellent organizational, supervisory, and communication skills to fulfill responsibilities including program assessment, supply management for activities, volunteer coordination, policy compliance, emergency responsiveness, and acting as a primary liaison with community organizations.
