Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • experience working with dementia residents preferred
  • experience in social or recreational activities programs in healthcare
  • valid driver’s license with favorable annual driving record
  • commitment to confidentiality
  • ability to maintain patient and tactful composure
  • food handler’s permit

Job Qualifications

  • experience working with dementia residents highly preferred
  • experience in social or recreational activities programs in healthcare settings
  • valid driver’s license

  • skilled in teamwork and organization

Job Duties

  • plan and implement activities programs that meet physical, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs of residents
  • encourage and motivate residents daily
  • collaborate with residents, families, and care teams to enhance community engagement
  • organize holiday and birthday celebrations, social events, and exercise programs
  • ensure activities cater to residents living with dementia
  • maintain confidentiality of resident status and medical history
  • maintain patient and tactful composure when interacting with residents, families, staff, and visitors
