Their communities offer a full spectrum of care options including independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing, all designed to foster a vibrant and supportive lifestyle. Each community is equipped with an array of conveniences and amenities such as casual and fine dining venues, beauty salons, fitness centers, security services, healthcare support, and engaging activity programs. The organization's culture is deeply rooted in the principle of Loving-Kindness, emphasizing respect, compassion, and appreciation for the diverse backgrounds and talents of its team members. Acts strongly values diversity and inclusion and is dedicated to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all, with comprehensive accommodations for candidates with disabilities throughout the hiring process.
The Life Enrichment Coordinator role at Acts is an inspiring opportunity tailored to skilled nursing neighborhoods, where the incumbent plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents. The position is full-time with a competitive hourly wage ranging from $20.34 to $25.49, dependent on qualifications and experience, and includes the benefit of next day pay through the PayActiv program. As a Life Enrichment Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and implementing innovative programs and events that embody the Acts Signature Experience (ASE). These activities are designed with a holistic approach aimed at nurturing the body, mind, and spirit of the residents, thereby promoting life balance and improving overall well-being.
Your work will involve incorporating wellness initiatives, person-centered living principles, and a hospitality-centered mindset to create engaging programming. This position demands creativity and empathy, as you develop activities tailored to residents’ diverse cognitive and functional abilities, ensuring meaningful engagement consistent with the Acts Engaged Living Philosophy. The planning framework is influenced by Montessori principles that empower and engage residents by honoring their personal histories and preferences as documented in their "My Story" records. These programs not only enhance residents' day-to-day experiences but also promote empowerment, autonomy, and a sense of community. The role requires a compassionate individual who can connect with older adults, inspire participation, and foster a warm and enriching environment. Acts supports its team members with a robust benefits package that includes health insurance options, tuition reimbursement, commuter benefits, scholarship awards, professional development programs, flexible spending accounts, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, paid time off, and much more. Joining Acts as a Life Enrichment Coordinator means becoming part of a dedicated team committed to making a profound difference in the lives of seniors while developing professionally and personally.
