The Life Enrichment Coordinator role at The Delaney at Georgetown Village is pivotal in enhancing the daily lives of residents through carefully planned and executed activities. This full-time position operates on a Tuesday through Saturday schedule and offers a competitive salary of $18 per hour. The coordinator will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating meaningful and engaging activities tailored to the physical, mental, and social well-being of the residents. This role plays a critical part in promoting a healthy community culture and supporting the holistic wellness of seniors. The Life Enrichment Coordinator will work closely with the Director of Life Enrichment to organize all resident activities, including special events across various established programs such as Lifestyles and Health Services, Embrace the World, Ambassador, and the Heartfelt Connections Memory Care Program.
This position requires the ability to lead daily activities in accordance with community standards and the preparation and distribution of monthly activity calendars. It also demands creative thinking and resourcefulness to design diverse programming that addresses the needs of a wide range of residents— from newly retired seniors seeking an active, carefree lifestyle to individuals requiring physical assistance and those experiencing different stages of memory loss. Job Requirements

- Associate's degree preferred
- Six months experience working with seniors in activities/life enrichment preferred

Job Duties
- Assist the Director of Life Enrichment with planning, scheduling, and coordinating all resident activities including special events following the Life Enrichment programs on a monthly basis
- Promote a healthy community culture for all residents and employees
- Provide individual and group educational opportunities for residents and staff in the area of disease prevention and management in the holistic spirit of the Lifestyle and Health Services Wellness Program
- Lead daily resident activities per our Community standards
- Assist with preparing and distributing monthly calendars according to the Community standards
- Plan and execute diverse and engaging programs to meet the needs of a diverse resident population including newly retired seniors seeking a carefree lifestyle, seniors in need of physical assistance, and seniors in varying stages of memory loss
