This distinguished community provides a comfortable, welcoming environment where seniors can enjoy a high quality of life in the familiarity and security of their own homes. At Touchmark, the focus is on fostering a vibrant, engaging lifestyle tailored to meet the holistic needs of each resident, including their physical, cognitive, social, and spiritual wellbeing. The community prides itself on upholding core values such as excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion, which guide every aspect of resident care and community interaction. Touchmark’s dedication to creating a nurturing atmosphere is reflected not only in its amenities and living spaces but significantly in the wide range of programs and activities designed to inspire and entertain its residents.
The role of the Life Enrichment Coordinator at Touchmark at Fairway Village is both dynamic and rewarding. This part-time position primarily involves planning, organizing, and implementing a comprehensive activities program that caters to the diverse needs and preferences of the senior residents. The coordinator plays a pivotal role in fostering a sense of belonging and engagement among residents by facilitating events and activities that promote physical activity, mental stimulation, social interaction, and spiritual growth. This position requires a creative and compassionate individual who enjoys working collaboratively to develop events such as holiday and birthday celebrations, social gatherings, community outings, and exercise programs. The Life Enrichment Coordinator will have the opportunity to positively impact residents' lives daily by motivating participation and being a source of encouragement and support.
Ideal candidates for this role demonstrate a strong alignment with Touchmark's core values, particularly in showing integrity, compassion, and a commitment to excellence and teamwork. The position demands a reliable, trustworthy individual who is comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Flexibility and adaptability are essential traits, as the role requires managing diverse activities and responding to residents' varied and changing needs. Candidates must uphold strict confidentiality concerning resident information and medical histories, ensuring that privacy and respect are maintained at all times.
Work shifts for this position are primarily on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, typically from 9 am to 6 pm, providing a work schedule that supports work-life balance. The Life Enrichment Coordinator will be expected to operate a non-CDL community bus for resident outings and maintain an excellent driving record. Comprehensive training for CPR, First Aid, and AIDS certification will be provided, enabling the coordinator to provide not only engaging activities but also to ensure residents' safety during activities and outings.
This role offers competitive pay and the chance to be part of a community that truly values its team members. Additional perks include affordable on-site meals, paid time off for eligible full-time employees with accrued PTO up to 120 hours after one year of service, and a comprehensive benefits package for employees working over 30 hours per week. Touchmark also provides 401K retirement plans with company match and paid holidays—with double-time pay for those working holidays—underscoring the organization’s commitment to supporting its employees as they support its residents.
In summary, the Life Enrichment Coordinator position at Touchmark at Fairway Village offers a meaningful, engaging career opportunity for individuals passionate about senior care and community enrichment. The role not only fosters an environment where seniors can thrive but also allows the coordinator to grow professionally while contributing positively to a vibrant and dedicated team. If you are motivated by a chance to make a genuine difference in the lives of others and enjoy a work environment that champions respect, joy, and excellence, this position is ideally suited for you.
