The Life Enrichment Assistant role at Terralume Signature Memory Care is integral to bringing the community's mission to life. This position assists in planning, implementing, and evaluating life enrichment programming aimed at promoting wellness and engagement for residents living with memory care challenges. The Life Enrichment Assistant works closely with other departments to coordinate activities that align with Ebenezer’s cornerstones, including Life Long Learning, Dimensions Program for Dementia Care, Crafted Culinary experiences, Spiritual Care, Wellness, and Intergenerational Programming. This part-time role, which includes 12 hours every two weeks predominantly on Sundays from 10:00am to 4:30pm, provides a rich opportunity to impact the lives of residents through social events, exercise programs, and community outings.

The role requires individuals who are adaptable, empathetic, and passionate about enriching the lives of seniors with dementia. Responsibilities include leading social events, conducting exercise classes, and assisting with special events and outings, all designed to promote resident independence, foster socialization, and address psychosocial needs. The Life Enrichment Assistant also plays a critical role in documenting activities and communicating effectively with team members across departments. By offering suggestions to improve programming and aiding in creating vibrant, engaging experiences, this position supports the ongoing development of life enrichment offerings at Terralume.

Compensation for this position ranges from $17.11 to $24.16 per hour, reflecting the candidate’s skills, education, and experience.
