The Life Enrichment Assistant plays a crucial role in assisting with the planning and implementation of a diverse calendar of resident activities, including budgeting, coordinating with outside organizations, setting up for events, and ensuring timely cleanup. A key responsibility is to help tailor activities to meet the unique needs and preferences of residents, ensuring inclusivity and engagement.

As a Life Enrichment Assistant, you may also be assigned oversight of specific life enrichment components, such as Memory Care or particular activity programs, requiring attentiveness and dedication to specialized needs. The role involves the safe transportation of residents to and from external events, which includes driving company vehicles when necessary. Effective communication with both residents and staff is essential to foster a collaborative and supportive environment. Job Requirements

  • Current valid driver’s license
  • Age 25 or older to meet company insurance requirements
  • Clean driving record to meet company insurance requirements
  • Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in working with seniors, event planning, or lesson planning preferred
  • Demonstrated creative skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate with various stakeholders
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Clean driving record

Job Duties
