The Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant role at Legend Senior Living is a meaningful part-time position focused on enhancing the quality of life for residents by planning and executing engaging and purposeful activities. This role involves assisting in the development of activity calendars, budgeting, coordinating with outside organizations for events, and overseeing specific life enrichment components such as Memory Care programs. The Assistant plays a key role in transporting residents to and from events, requiring a valid driver's license and a clean driving record for company insurance compliance. Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a willingness to adhere to company policies are essential for success in this position. The Life Enrichment Assistant works closely with residents and staff to ensure activities meet residents' needs and preferences, contributing positively to their overall well-being.

Job Requirements
- Current, valid driver’s license
- Age 25 or older to meet company insurance requirements
- Clean driving record to meet company insurance requirements
- Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles
- Ability to perform standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
- Prefer experience working with seniors, event planning, lesson planning, and creative skills

Job Duties
- Assisting with the planning and implementation of resident activities, to include calendar development, budgeting, coordinating with outside organizations, setup, and cleanup
- Helping to ensure activities meet the needs and preferences of residents
- Being willing to provide oversight of a specific life enrichment component, e.g., Memory Care, specific activity, etc., as assigned
- Coordinating the transportation of residents to and from outside events to include driving company vehicle when needed
- Communicating effectively with residents and staff
- Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines
