The LifeCafe Supervisor plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily shift operations of the LifeCafe. This position focuses on delivering an outstanding customer experience to Life Time members while leading and motivating the LifeCafe team to uphold the highest standards of service and professionalism. The supervisor is responsible for managing scheduling adjustments based on traffic flow to ensure efficient operations during peak and off-peak hours. They act as the daily leader on shift, providing direction and support to team members to prepare menu items accurately and serve customers in a friendly, professional manner. Monitoring the quality of food and speed of service is a critical aspect of the job, as it directly influences the overall dining experience for members and guests. Additionally, the supervisor handles light food preparation duties and responds swiftly to member inquiries, feedback, and concerns to maintain high satisfaction levels.

This hourly position offers a starting wage of $15.50 with a potential pay increase up to $18.50 based on experience and qualifications. The role requires night and weekend availability, reflecting the varied business needs of the LifeCafe environment. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire
  • ServeSafe certification with the first 60 days of hire
  • ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs
  • ability to work in a stationery position and move about the cafe for prolonged periods of time
  • night and weekend availability is required based on the business needs

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED
  • CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire
  • ServeSafe certification with the first 60 days of hire
  • 1-2 years of supervisor or manager experience with a food service or retail background in a high volume atmosphere preferred

Job Duties

  • manages Lifecafe shift operations while making schedule adjustments based on traffic flow
  • acts as daily shift leader by providing a high level of customer and team support
  • ensures team members prepare menu items correctly and service customers in a professional manner
  • provides promotion and disciplinary recommendations to the manager
  • manages light food prep responsibilities
  • quickly and efficiently responds to member questions, comments, and concerns
