The Licensed Practical Nurse position is integral to the healthcare team at Harrison County Adult Detention Center, providing nursing care within the scope of practice as defined by the local state nursing practice act. The LPN will be responsible for delivering quality care by monitoring and assessing patient needs, administering medication, performing wound care, and documenting all nursing interventions accurately. Working under the supervision of healthcare supervisors, registered nurses, or the Medical Director, the LPN ensures compliance with all local laws and regulations governing nursing practice.
