Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • current Property and Casualty Insurance license
  • ability to obtain and maintain all applicable state licenses
  • successful completion of customer service, insurance, and membership training within six months of hire
  • experience in customer-focused service
  • experience servicing insurance policies and processing applications, renewals, and amendments
  • ability to respond to billing and coverage inquiries
  • ability to process payments
  • capacity to promote insurance sales
  • effective communication skills
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • ability to work both independently and in a team
  • ability to work under pressure in a high-volume setting
  • willingness to work irregular hours including weekends, holidays, and community events
  • comply with background and drug screening procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Current Property and Casualty Insurance license
  • ability to obtain and maintain required state licenses and appointments for selling and servicing membership products
  • successful completion of customer service, insurance, and membership training within six months of hire
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • experience providing high-level customer-focused service
  • experience servicing insurance policies and processing documentation
  • ability to respond to billing and coverage questions
  • capability to process monetary transactions
  • experience promoting sales of insurance products
  • skill in presenting complex information clearly
  • knowledge of insurance terminology, regulations, underwriting, and compliance
  • proficiency with insurance and membership systems such as PPS, POS, IMS, IPM
  • team-oriented and able to work independently
  • proficient in Microsoft Office
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to perform mathematical calculations accurately
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Perform retention calls
  • process applications, renewals, and amendments
  • resolve customer problems
  • sell membership and financial products
  • provide price quotes on insurance products considering applicable rules and discounts
  • take insurance payments
  • respond to customers’ insurance inquiries and explain product features
  • refer to agent when appropriate
  • promote cross-sale opportunities during policy servicing
  • process customer policies, endorsements, and coverage changes
  • assist management and agents with sales processing
  • conduct outbound promotional and retention calls
  • promote Auto Club Group products and services
  • participate in team efforts to ensure customer satisfaction
  • handle member/customer complaints
  • engage in office events for insurance revenue and member awareness
  • fulfill and service insurance policies
  • prepare insurance proposals and billing clarifications
  • contact members on renewals or delinquent payments
  • verify new business applications
  • refer members to other lines of business
  • process insurance and membership payments
  • update electronic member information
  • maintain filing systems and general agency support
