Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Customer service experience
- Professional appearance
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs
- Ability to climb, bend and kneel
- Ability to use keyboard or tablet
- Ability to work outdoors
- Availability to work a minimum of 3 days including a weekend and various shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Customer service experience is a requirement, airport experience a plus
- Bi-lingual a plus, but not required
- Must have a professional appearance: tattoos covered, no earrings for men
- Able to stand on your feet for up to 8hrs
- Able to lift and/or move items up to 75 lbs
- Must be able to climb, bend and kneel
- Must be able to use your fingers/hands to use a keyboard or tablet
- Must be able to work outdoors for extended period of time
- Must be able to work a minimum of 3 days in total, including a weekend day
- Must be able to work for various shifts
Job Duties
- Provide a variety of information to customers/travelers, provide direction, resolve problems and/or complaints and assist as needed
- Handle customer concerns and questions in a timely and efficient manner
- Provide answers to all general inquiries from customers and other airport visitors
- Support the airport in managing short-term (flight cancellations, terminal changes, etc.) and long-term (airport development projects) changes
- Be a positive, pleasant, and engaging representative of the Port Authority of NY/NJ and the LGA Airport community
